Dr. Russell Gaede
Dr. Russ holds a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, a Post-Masters Certificate in Marriage and Family therapy, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. He has certificates in conflict resolution and domestic mediation. He has over 20 years’ experience working in the mental health field in correctional, outpatient, private, and community practice settings with adolescents and adults. He is a former juvenile probation officer and has worked for the Utah Department of Corrections. Dr. Russ is a recognized speaker, educator, program developer, and author. He served as the Governor appointed chair of the Utah Clinical Mental Health Counselor licensure board for the Department of Occupational and Professional Licensing. He is a Certified Crisis Counselor with the State of Utah and has participated in various crisis situations. Dr. Russ is trained in and utilizes trauma informed modalities and is a Master ART Clinician (Accelerated Resolution Therapy). Outside the office, Dr Russ will be found swimming, cycling, and running as he prepares for his next triathlon or Ironman. He enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
