Dr. Partridge earned his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh in 1992, and Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degree in Clinical Psychology from the Colorado School of Professional Psychology in 2006. After moving to Utah to work at the Utah State Hospital, Dr. Partridge started The Partridge Group in 2011, and after collaborating with Dr. Eric Nielsen, began specializing in public safety psychology and working with first responders in 2014. When not working, Dr. P can be found underwater (preferring to dive in warm water with lots of visibility), golfing, camping, getting away to Lake Powell, and skiing when it snows. Dr. Russ holds a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, a Post-Masters Certificate in Marriage and Family therapy, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. He has certificates in conflict resolution and domestic mediation. He has over 20 years’ experience working in the mental health field in correctional, outpatient, private, and community practice settings with adolescents and adults. He is a former juvenile probation officer and has worked for the Utah Department of Corrections. Dr. Russ is a recognized speaker, educator, program developer, and author. He served as the Governor appointed chair of the Utah Clinical Mental Health Counselor licensure board for the Department of Occupational and Professional Licensing. He is a Certified Crisis Counselor with the State of Utah and has participated in various crisis situations. Dr. Russ is trained in and utilizes trauma informed modalities and is a Master ART Clinician (Accelerated Resolution Therapy). Outside the office, Dr Russ will be found swimming, cycling, and running as he prepares for his next triathlon or Ironman. He enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Dr. Chloe Bhowmick completed her bachelor’s degree in psychology with minors in anthropology and business at San Jose University. She earned her Ph.D. at Palo Alto University in clinical psychology, primarily focusing her clinical work and research in forensic psychology, neuropsychology, and trauma. Her clinical experience during graduate school included working with persons involved in the criminal justice system and veterans. In addition, Dr. Bhowmick has worked in a variety of research settings during her graduate training, most prominently at the National Center of Posttraumatic Stress - Dissemination and Training Division located within the Veteran Affairs (VA) Palo Alto Health Care System. A California native, she moved to Utah to complete her predoctoral internship at the VA Salt Lake Health Care System. Dr. Bhowmick grew up in a family full of veterans and first responders, and feels a sense of gratitude and passion at being able to contribute to these communities. She had the privilege of completing a rotation with Dr. Partridge during her internship year at the Salt Lake City, and has been working with The Partridge Group since graduating in 2020. In her off-time, Dr. Bhowmick likes to go to the many local beaches, read, be out and about with family and friends, and go to local music events.

Mike Mortensen is an LCSW living in Cedar City, Utah. Mike has been practicing for over five years and specializes in working with PTSD, Anxiety and Panic Disorders, OCD, Depression, etc. He utilizes EMDR, CBT, Sandtray Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to help his client recognize their own personal strengths and goodness. One of Mike's favorite parts about the therapeutic process is helping clients feel empowered to overcome the issues that are bringing them down and seeing them make positive life changes. Mike was born in Los Angeles California but moved to Utah when he was a young child with his family. He has lived all across Utah and claims it as his home. Mike's hobbies are wide and ranging but some include snowboarding, team sports, reading psychological thrillers, playing guitar, writing poetry, being outside, and spending time with his wife and children on their small hobby farm.

Amy is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor. Her focus is on helping people identify and work through barriers that interfere with having a joyful life. She has been a counselor for over 12 years and worked in the social services field for 10 years before that. Amy is certified in EMDR and has completed many specialized training including integrative nutrition and supplementation, complex trauma, addiction, behavioral addictions, sand tray therapy, personality disorder and DBT. Amy’s approach to treatment is to provide knowledge on how the mind and body function, teach tools to provide effective management of emotions that feel intense or unmanageable and engaging in therapeutic practices to clear out the factors that are driving the distressing symptoms. She places emphasis on creating an environment that her clients can feel safe to work through their journey of healing. She believes in being respectful and kind while also being clear and honest. Amy has lived in the Cedar City area her whole life and loves to explore all that Southern Utah has to offer. She loves playing games, camping, gardening and recreation of all sorts with her husband and 5 children.

Aaron has been a licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor since 2018. His approach to therapy is creating a warm, personalized, and pragmatic space for change and growth. You can expect to discover your strength and outgrow the things that have happened to you. He specializes in complex trauma and PTSD. He is trained in both basic and advanced EMDR and utilizes these tools to treat various forms of anxiety. He also has experience in working with both depression and relationship challenges. Aaron comes from a long background of military service and work in public safety. He has extensive experience with the mental, emotional, and social costs of that service.

Ashley (ACMHC) holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She has over a decade of experience working with public safety, and her niche is working with first responders, military, and their families. Ashley specializes in working with PTSD, anxiety, depression, male
and female issues, and relationship issues. She is a former Wellness Coordinator for the Utah Department of Public Safety, Utah Highway Patrol where she helped to develop and streamline their Peer Support program. Ashley uses trauma-informed modalities, such as trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), accelerated resolution therapy (ART), internal family systems (IFS), and other creative approaches to help her clients recognize their full potential and reach their goals. In her free time, Ashley enjoys spending time with her family, and friends, and traveling. |
Jonathan Buttrey, LCMHC earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at New Mexico State University and his Master’s Degree in Counseling at Northern Arizona University. Jonathan has worked as a therapist for many years in a variety of settings, including community mental health, group homes, acute psychiatric behavioral health, and residential treatment with adolescents, adults, and families. He has with The Partridge Group since 2016, and utilizes a variety of therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), narrative, emotion-focused, expressive arts, and experiential therapies. He is also trained in biofeedback, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
Dr. England holds a Doctorate in Clinical Forensic Neuropsychology from the Forest Institute, as well as a Master’s in Forensic Entomology from Oregon State University, and both a Master’s and Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Colorado. He is dual-certified as a Leadership and Executive Coach through the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and as an Advanced Certified Personal & Executive Coach. Dr. England is also a Certified Warrior Toughness Trainer and a Certified Master Resilience Trainer. With over 30 years of experience in mental healthcare and talent development, Dr. England has consulted and spoken with organizations across the globe. As a retired U.S. Navy officer, he played a key role in developing the Navy’s largest talent development initiative for the U.S. Submarine Force. Originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, Dr. England is not only passionate about his professional work but also enjoys a range of outdoor activities. In his free time, he can be found skiing, snowshoeing, mountain biking, canyoneering, and hiking with his wife and children.

Sara is our Office Manager and everything in between. Sara graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Sociology. Sara is currently working towards her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is looking forward to transitioning from administration to clinician. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, traveling, and trying new foods.
Drew is a dedicated mental health professional currently completing his Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Utah Valley University and has gained valuable experience as a behavioral technician, working with a diverse range of clients to enhance their mental well-being and life satisfaction. Drew’s therapeutic approach often utilizes cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) methods, addressing issues such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and relationship challenges. He believes in a holistic perspective integrating mind, body, and spirit to foster overall wellness. Outside of his professional endeavors, Drew is passionate about sports and values the importance of teamwork. He enjoys spending time with friends and family and finds rejuvenation in nature.
Doogie is Dr. Partridge's 11-year-old labradoodle who was rescued nine years ago (or maybe he rescued Dr. P). He loves everyone except the mail lady and large box trucks, and willing takes treats, belly/butt scratches, and loves playing tug-of-war. He is also good at napping, and is known to snore, yip, and chase bunnies while sleeping during sessions.
