Dr. Partridge earned his Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh in 1992, and Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) degree in Clinical Psychology from the Colorado School of Professional Psychology in 2006. After moving to Utah to work at the Utah State Hospital, Dr. Partridge started The Partridge Group in 2011, and after collaborating with Dr. Eric Nielsen, began specializing in public safety psychology and working with first responders in 2014. When not working, Dr. P can be found underwater (preferring to dive in warm water with lots of visibility), golfing, camping, getting away to Lake Powell, and skiing when it snows. It is no secret he is a Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Dr. Chloe Bhowmick completed her Bachelor’s degree in psychology at San Jose University in 2013, and earned her Ph.D. at Palo Alto University in 2020 in clinical psychology. She primarily focused her clinical work and research in forensic psychology, neuropsychology, and trauma, and completed specialty training in sleep and other health-related behaviors during her time at the VA. Following the completion of her doctorate, she started working at The Partridge Group. Dr. Bhowmick brings her background of neuropsychology and trauma into her work with first responders, examining first responder experiences with a nuanced and multifaceted perspective. She combines the impact of various personal and cultural experiences and health issues (e.g., sleep, ADHD or other conditions) on how each individual functions. Outside of the office, Dr. Bhowmick can found learning how to be outdoors, reading, attending live music events, and spending time at home watching reality TV shows.

Jonathan Buttrey, LCMHC earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at New Mexico State University and his Master’s Degree in Counseling at Northern Arizona University. Jonathan has worked as a therapist for many years in a variety of settings, including community mental health, group homes, acute psychiatric behavioral health, and residential treatment with adolescents, adults, and families. He has with The Partridge Group since 2016, and utilizes a variety of therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), narrative, emotion-focused, expressive arts, and experiential therapies. He is also trained in biofeedback, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Dr. Russ holds a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, a Post-Masters Certificate in Marriage and Family therapy, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. He has certificates in conflict resolution and domestic mediation. He has over 20 years’ experience working in the mental health field in correctional, outpatient, private, and community practice settings with adolescents and adults. He is a former juvenile probation officer and has worked for the Utah Department of Corrections. Dr. Russ is a recognized speaker, educator, program developer, and author. He served as the Governor appointed chair of the Utah Clinical Mental Health Counselor licensure board for the Department of Occupational and Professional Licensing. He is a Certified Crisis Counselor with the State of Utah and has participated in various crisis situations. Dr. Russ is trained in and utilizes trauma informed modalities to include ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy). Outside the office, Dr Russ will be found swimming, cycling, and running as he prepares for his next triathlon or Ironman. He enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.

Mike Mortensen is an LCSW living in Cedar City, Utah. Mike has been practicing for over five years and specializes in working with PTSD, Anxiety and Panic Disorders, OCD, Depression, etc. He utilizes EMDR, CBT, Sandtray Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to help his client recognize their own personal strengths and goodness. One of Mike's favorite parts about the therapeutic process is helping clients feel empowered to overcome the issues that are bringing them down and seeing them make positive life changes. Mike was born in Los Angeles California but moved to Utah when he was a young child with his family. He has lived all across Utah and claims it as his home. Mike's hobbies are wide and ranging but some include snowboarding, team sports, reading psychological thrillers, playing guitar, writing poetry, being outside, and spending time with his wife and children on their small hobby farm.

Amy is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor. Her focus is on helping people identify and work through barriers that interfere with having a joyful life. She has been a counselor for over 12 years and worked in the social services field for 10 years before that. Amy is certified in EMDR and has completed many specialized training including integrative nutrition and supplementation, complex trauma, addiction, behavioral addictions, sand tray therapy, personality disorder and DBT. Amy’s approach to treatment is to provide knowledge on how the mind and body function, teach tools to provide effective management of emotions that feel intense or unmanageable and engaging in therapeutic practices to clear out the factors that are driving the distressing symptoms. She places emphasis on creating an environment that her clients can feel safe to work through their journey of healing. She believes in being respectful and kind while also being clear and honest. Amy has lived in the Cedar City area her whole life and loves to explore all that Southern Utah has to offer. She loves playing games, camping, gardening and recreation of all sorts with her husband and 5 children.

Sara is our Office Manager and everything in between. Sara graduated from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Sociology. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading, traveling, and trying new foods.

Doogie is a 10-year-old labradoodle who was rescued eight years ago (or maybe he rescued Dr. P). He loves everyone except the mail lady and delivery drivers, and willing takes treats, belly/butt scratches, and loves playing tug-of-war. He is also good at napping, and is known to snore, yip, and chase bunnies while sleeping during sessions.
